About The Creator

Elaine-Sarah Comerford,

Button & Co. encapsulates a concept, inspired by a tradition many people worldwide relate to.

Award winning goldsmith ElaineSarah came up with the concept and design from her mother's rusty old button tin. Looking at the buttons she was reminded of when she was a little girl. She would watch her mother sewing and laying out patterns as she would play with the buttons and pick out the ones she wanted for her dresses. As she outgrew them, her mother Anne would cut the buttons off and store them in the tin for later use.

ElaineSarah, inspired by the memories that related to those buttons, created a collection of jewellery that would represent people's memories. And so the Memory bracelet was born, so that others could celebrate their own precious memories.

About Button & Co.

The designer brought the idea into the Dragons Den in 2009 where she received great interest from 3 of the dragons. She opted to team up with businessman Niall O Farrell, owner of men's formalwear chain Blacktie and the collection was re-branded as Button & Co.

Since then, the popularity of the collection has soared. Button & Co. has received huge interest and has many well known fans. The company took on 24 stores in it's first year and won several awards for innovation and product design.

With it's unique, recognisable designs and high quality standards Button & Co. is Irelands, trendsetting luxury brand.
