Thank you for using www.buttonandco.com These terms and conditions govern your use of the site and purchase of goods and services from the site.You will also find information on orders and returns. By accessing the site and /or placing an order you are accepting the terms and conditions and signifying your consent for us to use your information in accordance with our privacy policy.

At Button & Co. our priority is your satisfaction with our products and services. In the unlikely event that you are unhappy please contact us directly and we will be happy to help solve your problem.
Delivery and Customs
If you require an item by a specific date please state this when ordering and we will do our best to get it to you by that date. Generally delivery time will be within 10 working days. However, certain items i.e. special orders, custom orders and out of stock items may take longer so please allow for this when ordering.
We take great care when sending goods and always send them registered post. We shall deliver the goods to the address you specify for delivery. You are responsible for making arrangements to receive the goods and where goods are held at the post office or delivery depot due to no one being there to sign for them, you are responsible for collecting the goods promptly. It is important you supply an accurate address.
Please note; if you are returning an item for whatever reason you must use registered post. If you do not use registered post you are accepting full responsibility if the item gets lost in transit and Button & Co. are not obliged to replace this item.
It may not be possible for us to deliver to some countries. In this case you will be contacted and you will receive a full refund.
** Please note that any duty and/or administration charges incurred by your parcel being delivered overseas will need to be settled by you as Button & Co. will not be held liable for these.
Engraving, soldering, setting and repairs services
We offer both hand engraving and machine engraving on varying items. This may take an additional 5 working days excluding delivery time.

Our items are handmade in Ireland. At Button & Co. we maintain a very high level of workmanship and each item is checked before shipping.
Because each item is handmade there may be slight imperfections and some pieces may have slight differences. This by no means affects the quality of the silver/gold or the quality of the product. In the unlikely event that an item is damaged in transit please report this to Button & Co. Damaged goods must be reported within 3 working days of receipt of goods.
In the event of an item being reported within 3 days Button & Co. will cover the cost of the return postage and will repair /replace the item.
In the event of an item being broken or damaged by yourself, you may contact Button & Co. and we will offer a repair service at a charge.
Our Standards
All our jewellery is hand polished and finished. All our buttons are solid Sterling Silver except where gold is specified. Our gold is 9ct yellow as standard but on special order items or limited designs it may be of a higher grade, this will always be indicated by the hallmark (stamp) on the piece.
Our aim is to produce only items of a high standard so we only use genuine sapphires, rubies and diamonds in our buttons unless otherwise specially requested.
We share the public concern regarding conflict diamonds and we only use diamonds that comply completely with the Kimberly process requirements.
Returns
Return items must be returned only to the shop where purchased with proof of purchase.
Regrettably, items engraved, stone set (on special request) or customised in any way, cannot be refunded or exchanged unless they are defective or faulty. Customised goods if defective or faulty will only be repaired. In the event a repair is not possible Button & Co. may, at its own discretion, offer an exchange or refund.
Purchases made via the Internet or via mail order cannot be returned to one of our stockists. Items should be packaged back in the parcel as received, including all relevant paperwork and sent back to;

** Please Note: All returns must be sent by registered post Button & Co. cannot accept responsibility for parcels lost in transit. For all returns except where the item is faulty, you will be required to arrange and pay for the return of items to us.
Cancellations
If you realise you have made a mistake please contact us immediately to cancel your order. Since we process orders promptly in some cases i.e. customised items, it may not be possible to cancel after work on item has commenced.
Disclaimer
Button & Co. reserves the right to change, modify, substitute or remove items on the site without any notification. We will endeavour to make sure all our descriptions are correct, but please understand these may vary slightly from time to time. Button & Co. will try to keep the site as up to date as possible but we cannot guarantee that the site will be completely free from technical errors. Some items may be discontinued but not updated.
Cool Off Period
Customers are legally entitled to cancel an order within 7 working days of receipt of the product and may return it for a full refund.

Button & Co. Dunhill is a registered Trademark. It is not permitted for any persons to use the name, for any reasons, other than Button & Co. Goldsmiths Ltd.
Any persons found replicating or making interpretations of any of the jewellery and/or designs belonging to Button & Co. including all stories and written text, for commercial gain or otherwise, shall be in direct violation of copyright law and shall be legally liable for loss of earnings to Button & Co. Goldsmiths Ltd.
It is not permitted to use, reproduce, publish, transmit, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from, or sell, or participate in the sale of, or exploit in any way any of the jewellery/designs/written text, on this site.
